State Development Camp Recap

A huge congratulations to our 11 Waverley gymnasts who attended the State Development Camp over the weekend!

Across three sessions, our gymnasts had the opportunity to train with master coaches across all apparatus. They built on their current skills, explored new drills and training methods, and gained valuable experience learning from different coaches in a new and challenging environment. It was a fantastic opportunity to broaden their knowledge, develop their confidence, and continue progressing in their gymnastics journey.

Throughout the weekend, every gymnast represented Waverley with pride. They displayed outstanding attitudes, strong work ethic, fantastic enthusiasm, and the courage to step outside their comfort zones and embrace every challenge presented to them. Their willingness to learn and support one another was wonderful to see.

It was also incredibly rewarding to receive positive feedback from the coaching staff, who commented on how much our gymnasts have improved since the previous State Development Clinic. Their continued growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication they put into training each week.
