WGC have adopted Gymnastics Victoria (in partnership with Step by Step Psychology) Social Stories resource cards and are available to our coaches at both Glen Waverley and Oakleigh facilities.
Social stories help explain situations and expectations to gymnasts with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, comprehension difficulties and anxiety. They are a helpful tool to assist gymnasts learn socially appropriate responses and behaviour.
