WAG International Squad Senior Coach

We have a position open at Waverley Gymnastics Centre (WGC) for the role of International Squad Senior Coach (ISSC). This role encompasses both the coaching and management of our highest level of gymnasts (Senior and Junior International) in International Squad 1, with a focus on providing Beam and Floor Specialist coaching.

The ISSC will join a highly talented and dynamic team and will be working closely with an experienced partner coach, the WGC Head Coach, WGC High-Performance Manager and Squad coaches to deliver an exceptional High-Performance Program, achieving success on the national and international stage.

The wellbeing of our athletes is our highest priority and an important part of this role is upholding WGC's strong commitment to promoting and protecting the interests and safety of children.

WGC Become a Coach Workshop

Do you have a passion for working with children?

We are looking for energetic and bubbly individuals who are keen to make a difference in the lives of children. Our Become a Coach workshop is run on a quarterly basis and is designed to give you an inside look into what it would be like to coach gymnastics at Waverley Gymnastics Centre in our Junior Gym and Educational Gym programs.

No gymnastics experience is necessary! If you have a passion for working with children and a willingness to learn new skills, we encourage you to submit your expression of interest here.

Experienced Gymnastics coaches wanted

We are seeking experienced gymnastics coaches (Gymnastics Australia Intermediate qualified or above) to join our Educational Gymnastics coaching team! Our Educational Gymnastics program has a thriving community of over 1600 gymnasts who train each week to develop their fundamental skills and progress through our internal levels program.

If you are an experienced and passionate gymnastics coach seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and professional environment, we encourage you to apply today. We offer flexible coaching hours, with opportunities to coach on weeknights and Saturdays.

As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other coaches and staff members to deliver high-quality gymnastics training to our students. You will be responsible for implementing training plans, providing feedback to gymnasts, and creating a positive and safe training environment.
