OUR PROGRAMS
Waverley Gymnastics Centre offers three world-class programs: Junior Gymnastics, Educational Gymnastics, and Squad Gymnastics. Each program provides a fun, safe, and professional environment where participants can grow and thrive. Whether building foundational skills, learning through movement, or training at a competitive level, our expert coaches and supportive community help every gymnast reach their potential.
Junior Gymnastics
Our exceptional Junior Gymnastics classes for 2-5 year-olds are full of fun and learning.
The expertly crafted curriculum is designed to instil a love of movement and gymnastics through an engaging variety of activities.
Children are encouraged and challenged to master skills on our inground trampolines, balance beams, bars, sprung floor, foam pit and ninja frame.
Beyond learning gymnastics, our program aims to enhance coordination, refine balance and boost confidence, fostering a "can-do" spirit that sets the stage for success in all other endeavours.
This is the place where our very youngest members can embark on their gymnastics journey of fun, growth and confidence!
Educational Gymnastics
Our Educational program not only teaches handstands, cartwheels, and somersaults but has a strong emphasis on spatial and body awareness, allowing children to develop confidence and enhance their coordination, strength, and flexibility.
Classes are one hour a week for ages 5-8 years, one and a half hours for 8-10 years and two hours for 10+ years, held Monday to Saturday at our Oakleigh and Glen Waverley campuses.
All our classes are taught by our exceptional, experienced, and qualified coaches versed in both gymnastics and child development. Above all, they are passionate about teaching children and want to see your child learn, grow and achieve!
We have two fantastic Campuses located in Oakleigh and Glen Waverley. Our campuses are permanently set up, purpose-built facilities, designed to allow for Waverley’s progressive gymnastics program.
Squad Gymnastics
Waverley’s goal is to empower every gymnast to reach their individual potential. We aim to continue to empower and support gymnasts to be capable of successfully representing Victoria at the Australia National Championships and also to represent Australia at International competitions.
Waverley is extremely proud to have gymnasts performing at the highest levels of excellence and successfully representing Australia at Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Championships.
Inclusion Program
Work one-on-one with out passionate coaches!
At Waverley Gymnastics Centre, our Inclusion Program is dedicated to providing children with disabilities a supportive and enriching environment where they can thrive through one-on-one coaching within our Educational Gymnastics Program. We believe that every child, should have the opportunity to experience the joy, physical development, and confidence that gymnastics can offer.
George's Gymnastics Program
A 5-week program enhancing social and community participation, and physical activity for children with a disability, through community based gymnastics.
