Oceania Championships Team Announcement!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Emily Whitehead (Senior), Audrey Hawkins (Senior), and Alice Johnson (Junior) have been selected to represent Australia at the upcoming Oceania Championships! In addition, Miella Brown has been named as a reserve for the team, with this selection serving as a testament to all 4 athlete's resilience and hard work.

The Oceania Championships will take place in Brisbane from 8–9 May, bringing together the best athletes from across the region to compete on the international stage.

For Emily, this event marks an exciting milestone as she returns to international competition following shoulder surgery, a very exciting step in her recovery. For Alice, this will be her first international competition since competing at the Junior World Championships last year, continuing her progression on the world stage. For Audrey, this selection is particularly special as it marks her first international competition as a senior!

We are immensely proud of our selected athletes and cannot wait to see their hard work out on the competition floor in a few weeks time. Each of these athletes continue to set a wonderful example for our younger gymnasts and are a true credit to the WGC High Performance Program.

Congratulations to Emily, Audrey, Alice, and Miella! We can’t wait to cheer you on as they wear the green and gold and represent Australia at the Oceania Championships!
