WGC Junior International Gymnasts Stun at EnBW DTB Cup in Germany!

Over the weekend WGC Junior International athletes Alice Johnson and Audrey Hawkins represented Team Australia at the EnBW DTB Cup over in Stuttgart, Germany!

After a solid performance in the Junior Team Challenge competition on Saturday, Alice finished 17th All Around and Audrey finished 28th All Around! With a score of 133.000, Team Australia came way 9th in the Team Challenge results. Congratulations to all!

With some amazing routines, Alice qualified for the Bars final whilst Audrey qualified for the Vault and Floor finals the following night!

Apparatus finals saw Alice and Audrey in their international apparatus final debut's with their coach Jessica Haintz saying "The girls performed admirably in finals today, handling the pressure and changed warm up process well". 

Congratulations to Alice Johnson who made her Team Australia debut, Audrey Hawkins who brought her experience to the team and Coach Jessica Haintz for a very successful competition!

 

APPARATUS FINAL RESULTS:

Alice Johnson:

        Uneven Bars: 11.900 4th Place 

Audrey Hawkins:

        Vault: 11.975 5th Place

        Floor: 10.850 6th Place
