Waverley Makes History: Dual National Champions Crowned!

Waverley Gymnastics Centre has made history, producing both the Senior and Junior (Developing 13-15) International All-Around National Champions at the 2025 Australian National Championships, a feat no other Women’s Artistic Gymnastics club in Australia has achieved in over a decade.

In an unforgettable competition, Breanna Scott and Audrey Hawkins delivered brilliant performances to claim the country’s top titles and continue Waverley’s legacy of excellence.

A Historic Moment for Waverley

This is the first time since 2013 that a WAG club has produced both the Senior and Junior All-Around National Champions.

Waverley last achieved this feat in 2010, when Georgia Bonora and Angela Donald took home the honours, making this year’s success a continuation of Waverley’s legacy of excellence.

To have both national champions - senior and junior - come from the same club is a rare and powerful achievement. This moment is not just about medals. It’s about legacy. It’s about showing what’s possible when talent meets opportunity in the right environment.

Congratulations Audrey and Breanna!
