WGC athletes Romi Brown and Haylee Whitehead, led by coach Yusuf Topari, delivered outstanding performances at the 2026 DTB Pokal in Germany, contributing strongly to Australia’s international success and bringing home three medals across the competition.

Romi and Haylee began their campaign in the Senior Women’s Team event, where both athletes played an important role in securing Australia’s bronze medal. Their confident, reliable routines helped Australia stand out in a highly competitive field, and Romi’s strong performance here also earned her a place in the uneven bars final.

The highlight of the meet came in the uneven bars final, where Romi remained composed under pressure and produced a stunning routine. With excellent execution and rhythm, she scored 13.266, securing the silver medal and rounding out a brilliant meet.

The DTB Pokal 2026 was a remarkable event for our WGC athletes, and we are incredibly proud of Romi, Haylee and Yusuf for representing both Australia and our club with professionalism and and a strong team mindset.
