Level 5 & Level 7 Division 1 Kick Off the Season at the Niddrie Invitational

Level 5

Our Level 5 gymnasts made a fantastic start to the season, showing significant improvement since their recent control test.

The competition began on beam where, despite a few early nerves, the girls gained valuable experience and showed resilience throughout the event. Floor proved to be a highlight, with beautiful artistry, improved leaps, jumps and landings showcased across the group. The team then impressed on vault with powerful performances and excellent height off the table before finishing strongly on bars with many well-connected routines.

We're incredibly proud of the effort shown by every gymnast and look forward to seeing them continue to grow throughout the season.

Level 7

Our Level 7 gymnasts also enjoyed a fantastic start to their competition season.

For many of the girls, this was their first competition outside of Waverley this year, making it especially exciting to see so many new skills and optional floor routines performed for the first time. The day began with some outstanding vault performances before the girls backed them up with strong bars routines. While beam presented some challenges for those new to the level, our returning athletes showed excellent confidence and composure. The competition concluded on floor, where every gymnast had the opportunity to showcase not only their tumbling but also their personality and performance quality.

One of the standout features of the day was the encouragement and sportsmanship displayed by every gymnast. The support they showed one another throughout the competition was something to be incredibly proud of.
