Gymnasts Shine at Junior Victorian Championships

Congratulations to all the Level 5, 6 and 7 gymnasts who competed at the WAG Junior Victorian Championships Level 5-7 over the weekend! Our gymnasts truly shined at their last competition for the year!

Level 7 Division 1 (11yrs and Over)

Waverley's Level 7 gymnasts showcased phenomenal performances on all apparatus! Our Level 7 (11 years and over) walked away with the Club Champion award for placing 1st in the Team All-Around competition. Well done gymnasts!

Special mentions to the following gymnasts who placed top 10 in the following apparatus:

• Neva Hunter: 6th on Vault, 6th on Bars, 8th on Beam and 5th All-Around
• Danelle Van Biljon: 2nd place on Vault, 9th on Beam, 8th on Floor and 6th All-Around
• Alex Stone: 8th on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 7th All-Around
• Nina Low: 2nd on Beam
• Khloe Rubi: Victorian Vault Champion, 9th on Beam
• Steph Armstrong: 5th on Beam

 

Level 7 Division 1 (10yrs and Under)

Well done to Grace Yahpae and Alex Miao on spectacular performances!

• Grace is the Victorian All-Around Champion and also placed 1st on Beam and Floor!
• Alex Miao took out the 1st place for Vault and Bars, finishing in 2nd in the All-Around competition. Well done!
