ALP Level 5 & Level 7 Build on a Strong Start at the 2026 Judges Invitational

Level 7

An early start saw our Level 7 gymnasts take to the floor for their second competition of the season, and the improvement in both their routines and composure was clear to see.

Starting on beam, the girls handled the pressure exceptionally well, keeping their nerves under control and producing many stuck routines across the group. They carried that confidence onto floor, where high leaps and jumps were a highlight, before finishing strongly across vault and bars with further improvements from their previous competition

There were some outstanding results to celebrate, including multiple apparatus podium finishes across both divisions. Claire secured 1st on Floor and 2nd All Around, while Kristen took 1st on Beam and 3rd All Around. The team results also saw Waverley Red earn an impressive 3rd place.

We couldn't be prouder of the way the girls handled their second competition and represented Waverley throughout the day.

Level 5

Our Level 5 gymnasts were also back in action for their second competition of the season, building on their first outing with significant improvement across each apparatus.

The girls began on bars, where increasing swing height has been a particular focus in training. It was fantastic to see that work reflected in their routines, with noticeable improvement across the group.

They then moved to beam and delivered one of the standout performances of the day, with an incredible seven out of eight stuck routines! Strong, clean performances demonstrated the growing confidence of the group before they finished the competition across vault and floor, showcasing powerful tumbling and impressive height in their jumps.

The results reflected a fantastic day of competition, with podium finishes across every apparatus. Rylee delivered an outstanding performance to secure 1st on Floor and 1st All Around, while Alex took 1st on Vault and Gabby claimed 1st on Beam. Waverley Blue also secured an impressive 3rd place in the team competition.

We are incredibly proud of the way the girls performed and represented Waverley throughout the day.

Congratulations to all of our ALP Level 5 and Level 7 gymnasts on another successful competition. To see such a noticeable step forward in just one week is a fantastic reflection of the work being put in at training, and we are excited to see the girls continue to build on these performances throughout the season!
