2022 Gymnastics Victoria State Trial 1 Results

The Gymnastics Victoria State Trials kicked off over the weekend with 24 athletes competing across six divisions.

As well as serving as the first of three qualifiying events for State Team selection, the Trial was an opportunity for the majority of gymnasts to compete, in person, for the first time since the COVID pandemic.

In the ALP 8 Division, Chloe Horgan finished 1^st All-Around and 3^rd on Bars. Alice Johnson finished 3^rd All-Around, and 2^nd on both Floor and Beam.

In the ALP 9 Division, Jessie Kirk finished 2^nd All-Around, Zhimei Ross finished 1^st on Vault, and Alyssa Morley finished 2^nd on Vault.

Hanano Sakamoto starred in the ALP 10 Division, finishing 1^st All Round, 1^st on Vault and Bars, and 3^rd in Beam. Jess Eland finished 2^nd All- Around, and 2^nd on Vault, Bars, and Beam. Madeleine Fenton finished 3^rd on Vault & Bars.

Haylee Whitehead finished 3^rd All-Around, and 2^nd on both Bars and Floor in the Future International Division. Keira Woon finished 3^rd on Vault and Floor. Chloe Kousis finished 1^st on Vault and 3rd on Beam.

In the Junior International Division, Michaela Rodrigues finished 1^st All-Around, 1^st on Bars and Floor, and 2^nd on Vault and Beam. Olina Karatzias finished 2^nd All-Around, 1^st on Beam, 2^nd on Floor, and 3^rd in Vault & Bars.

In the Senior International Division, Chloe Salliaris finished 1^st All-Around, 1^st on Vault, Bars and Beam. Sumer Daly finished 2^nd All-Around, 1^st on Floor, 2^nd on Beam, and 3^rd on Vault.
