18 Waverley gymnasts selected to Victorian State Squad for Australian Championships

18 Waverley gymnasts have been selected to the Victorian State Squad to compete at the Australian Championships on the Gold Coast in May.

The premier gymnastics event in Australia sees the top gymnasts from around the nation compete for the title of Australian Champion. For Senior International athletes, the championships also serve as a qualifying event for 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Chloe Horgan and Alice Johnson have been selected to the Level 8 team.

Jessie Kirk and Zhimei Ross have been selected to the Level 9 team, with Alyssa Morley selected as a reserve.

Hanano Sakamoto, Jessica Eland and Madeleine Fenton have been selected to the Level 10 squad.

Haylee Whitehead, Keira Woon and Leandra Lewin have been selected to the Future International squad.

Charlotte Shin, Miella Brown, Michaela Rodrigues and Olina Karatzias have been selected to the Junior International squad.

Emily Whitehead, Romi Brown, Sumer Daly and Chloe Salliaris have been selected to the Senior International squad.
