Senior Victorian Championships 2025!
WGC Shines at 2024 Victorian Championships
It was a thrilling few days at the 2024 Victorian Championships, and our WGC gymnasts truly rose to the occasion. Across all levels, from our Level 8s to our Senior International athletes, our teams delivered standout performances filled with strength, determination, and composure.
In Level 9, both the Under and Over divisions delivered outstanding performances, with multiple podium finishes across every apparatus and a clean sweep of the All Around. The team effort was equally impressive, with our Level 9 athletes taking home the Team Champion title.
The International divisions were equally strong. Despite some tough setbacks in the lead-up, our Future International gymnasts pushed through to achieve top 6 All Around finishes. Our Developing International athletes dominated the competition, earning 1st place team and placing across all events, while our Senior International athletes delivered beautiful routines across their selected apparatus.
Our Level 10 team showed exceptional courage and unity, overcoming the challenge of an unfortunate in-competition injury. They supported each other through the disruption and closed out the day with strong routines and a 2nd place team finish, highlighted by multiple individual podiums.
In Level 8 Division 2, the team earned a silver medal finish, with standout routines on vault, bars and beam. Our Level 8 Under and Over gymnasts also shone, with consistent results across all events and both WGC teams claiming the top two team placements.
