Romi Brown & Haylee Whitehead Selected for 2026 DTB Pokal in Germany!
Waverley Gymnastics Centre is thrilled to announce that Romi Brown and Haylee Whitehead have been selected to represent Australia at the 2026 DTB Pokal Team Challenge in Germany, with Audrey Hawkins also named as a reserve athlete. In addition, Romi has also been selected to compete at the Cairo FIG World Cup!
Haylee Whitehead earns her selection after an outstanding 2025 competition season, highlighted by her 2nd place All‑Around finish the 2025 Australian National Championships in the Junior International division. This will be Haylee's third time representing Australia internationally, and her debut as a Senior International athlete. Haylee was selected for the DTB Pokal in 2025 but was unable to compete due to injury, making this year’s selection a meaningful and well‑deserved return to the event.
Romi Brown returned to international competition at the 2025 Gymnova Cup in Belgium, where she hit all of her routines and qualified for the bars final, finishing 4th. This confident performance marked an important milestone in her comeback after injury and paved the way for her selection to both the 2026 DTB Pokal and the Cairo FIG World Cup.
