Australian WAG Team qualify for Paris 2024!

We are so incredibly proud of the team of AUS WAG gymnasts who qualified a team quota position to the Paris 2024 Olympics - the first time in over a decade!

It was an absolutely thrilling event to watch, with the Australian Team placing 9th overall with a score of 157.896! The team narrowly missed out on securing a Team Final position.

It is absolutely a testament to the hard work from our gymnasts, coaches, programs and parents who made this incredible feat possible. A huge thank you must go to Yusuf Topari, who attended the World Championships as a personal coach. Yusuf did a phenomenal job to prepare the gymnasts overseas and be a vital support system for the athletes. Thank you to Coach Yusuf!

Congratulations to Oceania Champion and World Cup medallist, Breanna Scott (Waverley), Tokyo Olympian and Commonwealth Games multi-medallist Emily Whitehead (Waverley), Commonwealth Games Champion and Tokyo Olympian Georgia Godwin (NSW), Commonwealth Games gold medallist Kate McDonald (CYC) and 16-year old debutant Ruby Pass (QLD). Special mention must also go to Miella Brown, our 16-year old superstar who was selected onto the World Championships Team, however unfortunately could not compete due to sustaining an injury before the competition.

We can't wait to watch Team AUS compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics next year - congratulations again! A momentous occasion for Australian gymnastics!
