Coached by Yusuf Topari, Breanna delivered a composed and consistent performance across all four apparatus, finishing in 12th place with an impressive total score of 51.798. Breanna’s incredible score makes her the equal 6th highest ranked Australian gymnast ever at a World Championships with Monette Russo achieving 3rd AA in 2005.
Beginning on floor, Breanna opened her competition with a powerful and confident routine highlighted by a sky-high double layout, controlled landings, and excellent artistry. Her presentation and poise earned a score of 12.433.
She continued her strong form on vault with a 13.133, before producing a clean and dynamic bar routine showcasing great amplitude and fluid transitions to score 12.666.
Breanna concluded her competition on beam, showcasing exceptional composure and precision in a true moment of redemption from her qualification round. Her routine combined difficulty with elegance, earning a 13.566, the second-highest beam score of the All-Around competition which would have qualified her fourth into the Beam Final.
Her final total of 51.798 marks a significant milestone in her international career, showcasing both the quality and consistency of her gymnastics. Speaking to Gymnastics Australia, Breanna said, “It was my goal to go out there and hit four from four routines and just prove that I am an All Around gymnast as well and I feel like I did that.”
Her performance sets a promising trajectory as she looks ahead to the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
WGC is incredibly proud of Breanna’s performance and the way she continues to represent Australia with excellence on the world stage.
Congratulations Breanna and Yusuf on this fantastic achievement!
